[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media, the Barcelona Foundation has launched unity-themed bracelets to commemorate International Childhood Cancer Day. To honor International Childhood Cancer Day on February 15, the Barcelona Foundation has introduced the “Blaugrana Bracelets” project, symbolizing the support of the Barcelona family for seriously ill children and young people. Inspired by the TV series “Pulseras Rojas,” the Barcelona bracelet replicates the shoelaces worn by Barcelona athletes, representing the support for children and adolescents suffering from severe and chronic illnesses. The “Blaugrana Bracelets” project aims to improve the emotional health of hospitalized children and adolescents and their families, creating areas and environments that provide support during illness, as well as promoting research into innovative therapies that can complement traditional treatment methods and potentially improve health outcomes. The project collaborates with pediatric hospitals in Catalonia and worldwide and has invited the creator, writer, and director of “Pulseras Rojas,” Albert Espinosa, as its main ambassador.
