[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Barcelona hopes to receive the unpaid €40 million from the German investment fund Libero this week in order to normalize their financial situation before the end of this season and avoid losses. Previously, Barcelona reported this income to LaLiga, and it has been approved. However, since these revenues have not been received, the club cannot proceed with further transfer operations. It is reported that Barcelona plans to resolve the unpaid €40 million from Libero this week, but there are also €60 million unrelated to this investment fund. Currently, there are “confirmed” investors for €30 million, and among the remaining €30 million, five investors are interested in participating. Spotify is one of the potential investors, but due to its status as a listed company, it must undergo auditing and strict compliance checks, which takes a considerable amount of time. Barcelona hopes to confirm these final revenues as soon as possible, with an internal deadline set for August 15th, but it is still unclear whether Spotify can participate in the investment in a timely manner.
