[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Barcelona players’ family members often travel with the team for away matches. For all of Barcelona’s away trips, the club offers a limited number of opportunities for players’ relatives and entourage to travel with the squad. They do not ride on the team’s official bus but are transported via chartered minibuses to the same hotel as the team, before later going to the stadium. This means they follow the same itinerary as the Barcelona players but are not allowed to mix during concentration periods. Of course, some choose to make their own travel arrangements. For important away matches, this special vehicle is usually full. Taking the recent trip to Rayo Vallecano as an example, only 10-12 people accompanied the expedition. Some faces are almost never absent, such as Dani Olmo’s father, who is a regular on away trips. Alejandro Balde’s brother, who looks strikingly similar to him, almost always travels with the team. It’s worth mentioning that Ronald Araujo’s brother, Michael, who bears a strong resemblance to him, is also frequently present. Occasionally, players’ partners can also be seen.
