[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, to assess Pedri’s muscle condition, Barcelona sent his muscle fiber sample to a laboratory in Baltimore, USA for analysis. The study concluded that Pedri is fit for daily strength training. Subsequently, under the guidance of fitness coach Julio Tous and physiotherapist Raul Martinez, Barcelona set up a fitness program for Pedri. In addition to club training, he is required to complete three training sessions at home, where the club has built a gym for him. These efforts are yielding results, as Pedri is in excellent physical condition and competitive form; since then, he has not suffered any muscle injuries either at Barcelona or with the Spanish national team. Barcelona has high hopes for Pedri to play a significant role in the new season as he is a unique player. Meanwhile, Barcelona has also begun the process of renewing Pedri’s contract, which is set to expire in 2026.
