[Saba Sports News] Leroy Sane has officially confirmed his transfer to Galatasaray. He came off the bench in his farewell match, playing 32 minutes and helping Bayern Munich defeat Flamengo 4-2 to advance to the quarterfinals of the FIFA Club World Cup. Recently, Bayern Munich held a simple farewell ceremony for him at a hotel in Orlando. Statistics show that Sane played 223 official matches for Bayern Munich over five years, scoring 61 goals and providing 55 assists. He helped the club win four Bundesliga titles. Sane was gifted two commemorative items: a specially designed jersey bearing the number “223” and a poster featuring highlights from his five-year Bayern career, accompanied by the inscription: “Thank you, Leroy!” Bayern Munich’s sporting director said, “Over the past five years, you’ve achieved great things for this club. We thank you for your contributions and sincerely wish you all the best in the next chapter of your career.” Sane replied, “I’m deeply grateful for these five years. It’s been an exciting time, and we’ve won so much together. I wish the team success in the upcoming games and hope they lift the trophy. Thank you everyone!”
