[Saba Sports News] Ahead of the Champions League match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, the Paris Police Prefecture issued a last-minute notice on Monday afternoon local time imposing mandatory regulations on the travel methods and assembly areas for Bayern Munich fans. In response, Bayern Munich club stated that they only learned of this unexpected measure today and immediately lodged a formal protest during the day’s UEFA preparation meeting, also considering further legal action. It is worth noting that Paris Saint-Germain club also expressed support on this matter and shares a consistent stance with Bayern Munich regarding the relevant issues. According to the Paris police notice, all Bayern Munich fan buses must assemble at a designated toll station outside the city before entering Paris. Other fans can only use public transport to reach the Parc des Princes. After the match, fans must return via the same route, and fan buses will leave Paris under police escort. Bayern Munich criticized the extremely short notice as unacceptable. Due to this administrative order, most Bayern Munich fan buses will be unable to depart Paris for Germany until around 5:00 AM at the earliest after the match, because of mandatory driver rest period regulations.
