[Saba Sports News] According to the “Beijing Release” WeChat account, Beijing will build a new professional badminton center with a total construction area of over 10,000 square meters and a building height of 24 meters, consisting of three floors above and below ground. The above-ground area is 6,600 square meters, while the underground area is 3,800 square meters. This professional badminton hall is temporarily named “Haidian Badminton Center.” The project began construction in mid-September this year and is expected to be completed and accepted in the third quarter of 2026. From the exposed site photos, it can be seen that the land has been leveled, and the bare soil is covered with green nets. Large excavators have entered the site to begin earthwork excavation. The three-dimensional design of the venue is unique and full of technological sense, meeting functional needs while enhancing visual experience. Once completed, the venue will not only host international badminton competitions but will also be open for public use, greatly improving the conditions of indoor sports facilities in the surrounding area and enriching the sports culture life of citizens.
