[Saba Sports News] Italian legend Leonardo Bonucci recently shared insights during a media interview about his departure from Juventus years ago. He candidly admitted that he received an invitation from Premier League giants Manchester City when leaving Serie A Juventus; however, he ultimately chose to join AC Milan because he wanted to continue living in Italy. It is reported that Bonucci’s resilience against injuries was also something Pep Guardiola valued highly. Since the 2012-2013 season, Bonucci has consistently played no fewer than 40 matches each season. His ability to maintain fitness and avoid injuries while competing on multiple fronts is a quality Guardiola urgently needs in players. Bonucci has had a remarkable career with achievements at clubs like Inter Milan, Bari, Juventus, AC Milan, and Berlin Union. During his time at Juventus, he won nine Serie A titles, five Italian Super Cups, and four Coppa Italia titles.
