[Saba Sports News] According to GPblog’s exclusive report during the Belgian Grand Prix weekend, Bottas will become the first driver for the Cadillac F1 team. All that remains is to put the final agreements on paper and sign them. It seems that this moment may be announced at the Dutch Grand Prix, where the partnership could be officially revealed. With Bottas on board, Cadillac gains valuable experience in its bid to enter F1. This 35-year-old Finnish driver was once a runner-up in the Drivers’ Championship and currently serves as the third driver for Mercedes. He is known for his excellent technical knowledge, making him a valuable asset for a team that is set to enter F1 in the coming months. As for Bottas’ teammate, Sergio Perez’s name often comes up, partly due to the financial backing of his sponsors. Earlier, F2 driver Jack Crawford revealed that he had discussed the seat with Cadillac. Felipe Drugovich and Alex Dunne are also among the candidates.
