[Saba Sports News] The Los Angeles Lakers will be closely watched this season, not just because of LeBron James but also with the debut of his son, Bronny James.
Bronny has already made waves as his NBA Summer League debut jersey sold for an impressive $38,400 at a Sotheby’s auction, according to Ian Casselberry of Yahoo Sports. This far exceeded the prices for other top draft picks, such as Zaccharie Risacher’s jersey, which sold for $3,360, and Reed Shepard’s for $15,600.
However, Bronny’s jersey didn’t quite reach Victor Wembanyama’s, which sold for $62,020.
After being selected 55th overall by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft, Bronny had a modest Summer League debut and signed a four-year, $7 million contract.
