Strus was seen counting down with his fingers during Antetokounmpo’s free throw in the second quarter, drawing attention on social media. NBA rules allow players 10 seconds to take a free throw after receiving the ball. Strus reached the 10-second mark just as Antetokounmpo released his shot.
While Strus’ count may not have been exact, Antetokounmpo’s slow routine has previously been a topic of discussion, notably during the Bucks’ 2021 championship run.
