champion Chen Long shared a family photo of himself, his wife Wang Shixian, and
their child on social media, which garnered significant attention from fans.
The photo was taken by the Huangpu River, with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in
the background. The image of the loving family of three resonated with fans,
who left comments and expressed their support. Some fans even encouraged Wang
Shixian to have a second child soon. Chen Long and Wang Shixian are a prominent
couple in the Chinese badminton team, both being world champions. Their story
has touched the hearts of numerous fans. During the 2016 Rio Olympics, Wang
Shixian, who didn’t have the opportunity to compete for the Chinese team,
accompanied Chen Long to Brazil. To ensure that Chen Long could focus solely on
his performance, Wang Shixian rented a house near the venue with the assistance
of sponsors and prepared meals for him every day. This logistical support
allowed Chen Long to concentrate fully on the competition, ultimately leading
him to win the Olympic gold medal.
