[Saba Sports News] After the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix, Franco Colapinto, a driver for the Alpine team, did not leave immediately but stayed to participate in the team’s test session. However, during the test, he unfortunately crashed and was taken to the hospital. Fortunately, after examination, the driver was found to be fine. Colapinto had previously experienced several crashes, such as losing control and crashing out of the Q1 session in the July 2025 qualifying session, and also flipping over during tests in Qatar and Monza in May. This latest crash may indicate shortcomings in his driving skills, track handling ability, or experience. For young drivers, mistakes are inevitable during growth, but frequent crashes could affect the confidence and evaluation of both the team and the public, which may hinder his long-term career development. For the Alpine team, frequent crashes by drivers not only damage the car and increase maintenance costs but may also affect the team’s overall planning and reputation.
