[Saba Sports News] As the season approaches its halfway mark, the Ferrari team has once again fallen into turmoil. Although rumors of team principal Frederic Vasseur’s potential departure have temporarily subsided, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna openly stated at the British Grand Prix that they are discussing Vasseur’s future. This statement has reignited the situation and further intensified speculation about the trust crisis within Ferrari’s leadership. In the recent Silverstone race, Ferrari failed to reach the podium again, and the gap with championship contender McLaren continued to widen, now standing at 238 points. Although Lewis Hamilton fought hard in the latter part of the race, he was unable to break through Nico Hulkenberg’s defense, missing the opportunity to stand on the podium for the first time with Ferrari. Charles Leclerc, too, performed poorly, with a strategic error causing him to drop from the top ten to 14th place. The overall poor performance of the team has further increased doubts about Vasseur’s abilities. The public generally believes that Vasseur is currently under enormous pressure. Sky F1 presenter Ted Kravitz pointed out that Ferrari’s repeated strategic errors have significantly impacted the drivers’ confidence, and Leclerc’s tactical arrangement in the Silverstone race was considered a complete failure.
