Capello remarked: “I would classify De Zerbi as a T3 level coach; merely because Pep Guardiola praised him, many believe De Zerbi is among the elite coaches. However, Brighton is only in 10th or 11th place in the Premier League. Has De Zerbi achieved any significant victories? The coach’s track record must be considered in our assessment.” Although De Zerbi’s name has been linked to numerous top clubs, no concrete steps have been taken. Reports suggest there is a €15 million termination clause between De Zerbi and Brighton, which seems excessive for a coach. Presently, Brighton holds the 10th position in the Premier League with 48 points, boasting a record of 12 wins, 12 draws, and 12 losses.
