It is reported that after a severe car collision occurred during the Liverpool championship parade, a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. During Liverpool Football Club’s Premier League victory parade, a car crashed into a crowd in the city center, Water Street. Merseyside Police confirmed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving, and drug driving. Shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday evening, police received reports of a vehicle colliding with several pedestrians in Water Street, central Liverpool. A large number of emergency response personnel attended the scene, including police cars, fire engines, and ambulances. It is understood that the accident resulted in injuries to 50 people, including one adult and one child in critical condition. Steve Rotheram, Mayor of Liverpool City Region, stated that four people remain critically ill and are being treated in hospitals. There are still many emergency personnel on site, with forensic experts conducting investigations on Water Street. A 53-year-old white male from West Derby was arrested.
