[Saba Sports News] Noah Lyles is the latest star athlete to join the fingernail painting trend, and NBA legend Dwyane Wade loved it.
Lyles captured his first Olympic gold medal on Sunday by narrowly defeating Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson in the men’s 100m race in Paris. The 27-year-old had his nails painted for the occasion, and Wade showed his support.
“And he got his nails painted. Say something,” Wade wrote on X. The race was so close that NBC’s announcer mistakenly declared Thompson the winner. The finish reminded fans of a familiar movie scene.
If you’re going to paint your nails like that, you better be the fastest man alive. Lyles can now say that he is.
