[Saba Sports News] On the eve of the 2024 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, F1 drivers and teams gathered to pay tribute to racing legends Ayrton Senna da Silva and Roland Ratzenberger. Four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel initiated this commemorative event in collaboration with the Senna Foundation. Alongside F1 drivers, the venue also saw the participation of several F2 and F3 drivers, teams, and other members. They ran together in remembrance of these two legends. Looking at the pictures from the event, it is evident that all participants wore yellow T-shirts to commemorate Senna and wristbands to honor Ratzenberger. The scene resembled a sea of yellow. During their run, members of the Williams F1 Team halted at the Tamburello corner, where a monument has been erected in memory of Senna. They observed a minute of silence for the Brazilian icon, posed for photos, and then ran three miles around the track. For fans who remember Senna, his best performances occurred in rainy conditions. Coincidentally, light rain fell during this event, and the participants jogged in the rain, seemingly paying tribute to Senna’s legendary career.
