[Saba Sports News] So far in the 12 races this season, Ferrari has failed to secure a single victory. Additionally, Team Principal Frederic Vasseur’s contract is set to expire at the end of this year. Rumors have circulated that Ferrari might replace Vasseur with Antonello Coletta, the head of Ferrari’s WEC team. In response to the criticism, both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have voiced their support for Vasseur. Hamilton even stated that Vasseur was the primary reason he decided to join Ferrari. Recently, former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher revealed in an interview with Sky Sports Germany that Ferrari is currently negotiating a contract extension with Vasseur. This would put an end to speculation about Christian Horner potentially moving to Maranello. From an editorial perspective, retaining Vasseur is crucial for maintaining stability within the team. He has always emphasized fostering a culture of calculated risk-taking, encouraging the team to push boundaries rather than just chasing immediate results. This approach has earned him the trust of both Leclerc and Hamilton.
