[Saba Sports News] Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will receive his fourth F1 World Championship trophy at the FIA awards ceremony held in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. However, before receiving the trophy, Verstappen must complete one day of community service due to foul language used during the media conference at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix. Yesterday, the FIA released the details of Verstappen’s community service penalty. The Dutch driver is required to work with young drivers as part of a grassroots development program organized by the Rwanda Automobile Club (RAC) during his time in Kigali. This program is an economic off-road vehicle initiative created by the Rwanda Automobile Club under the FIA blueprint, with its design blueprint delivered to 147 national sporting authorities (ASNs). This will be Verstappen’s second community service event; he previously participated as a race observer at the 2019 Marrakech round of the FE electric formula, for which he was penalized due to a push incident with French driver Esteban Ocon at the 2018 F1 Brazilian Grand Prix.
