[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, former Manchester United academy player Dmitri Mitchell recently suffered a burglary at his home in Essex while moving into a new house. His car and several personal items were stolen during the move. The 28-year-old player, who recently joined Leyton Orient, had just moved from Manchester when thieves broke into his home at night and stole his car keys, driving off with the vehicle loaded with valuable items. Mitchell later posted a message on social media asking for help: “My home in Essex was robbed last night, and the thieves stole my car keys. There were valuables from my move from Manchester in the car.” He also shared the license plate of the stolen vehicle, YH25 VDD, and asked for any information. Mitchell made his first-team debut for Manchester United under Jose Mourinho in 2017, and later played for Hearts, Blackpool, Hibernian, and Exeter City before joining Leyton Orient this summer. Notably, in November 2024, Newcastle midfielder Joelinton’s home was robbed twice. The midfielder criticized the incident on social media: “Our home was broken into again. Please remember there is nothing valuable here! We only want our family’s safety and children to grow up without worries. We hope to build a community where all children feel safe.”
