[Saba Sports News] Former NBA guard Nick Young, who played alongside Draymond Green on the Golden State Warriors in the 2017-18 season, has raised questions about Green’s conduct towards European players. Speaking on FS1’s “Undisputed,” Young labeled Green as a “cheap shot guy” and noted his tendency to clash with European players.
Young’s observation comes in light of Green’s recent altercation with Bosnian center Jusuf Nurkic and an earlier suspension for an incident involving French center Rudy Gobert. Additionally, Green had a confrontation with Lithuanian forward Domantas Sabonis in last year’s playoffs.
However, Green’s history of on-court disputes is not limited to European players. He’s been involved in notable incidents with several American-born players, including a practice fight with Jordan Poole, and on-court altercations with Donovan Mitchell, Bradley Beal, James Harden, and LeBron James, suggesting a non-discriminatory pattern in his aggressive behavior.
Another former NBA star has proposed a different explanation for Green’s actions, which might offer more insight than Young’s theory.
