During their collaboration, they achieved results beyond expectations and continued to work towards new goals. Additionally, both on and off the court, he has received selfless support from his wife and his entire family, and he feels very satisfied with the current situation. After winning his second gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, he felt it was time to make some adjustments to his coaching team. Now, with Gade joining the coaching staff, he will work alongside Henrik PK Rohde to oversee his training and guidance. Furthermore, when preparing for competitions in Denmark, he will train at the Yonex Gade Academy. Axelsen revealed that when he first joined the Danish national team, he was fortunate to train with Gade during the latter part of his career and believes that Gade’s profound knowledge and experience in badminton will help him continue to surpass himself and reach new heights.
