Hamilton understands the team’s decision, given that both parties are still under contract, but he realizes that missing this testing will delay his acclimatization to the new team, potentially complicating the start of the 2025 season. Missing the off-season testing means Hamilton will lose a valuable opportunity to familiarize himself with the car, which may affect his adaptation speed compared to other drivers and, consequently, his performance in the early races of the new season. However, with Hamilton’s extensive experience, even if he misses this testing, he still has sufficient time and opportunities to adapt to the new environment, especially with the upcoming Bahrain test, which provides ample time.
