[Saba Sports News] According to GPblog, as the challenging season continues, Lewis Hamilton has reiterated the view that the rear of the Ferrari SF-25 car is problematic. With six races remaining until the season concludes, Hamilton explained in Singapore that the main shortcoming of the Ferrari lies in the rear of the car. He stated: “Compared to those teams that have made progress and improved the performance of their car’s rear, we are currently quite limited in that aspect.” Thus far, the Ferrari team has experienced a tricky season, with the Scuderia yet to secure a Grand Prix victory. There have, of course, been some highlights, such as Hamilton winning the Sprint race in China and Charles Leclerc finishing second in Monaco, but such bright spots have been few and far between. The recent Singapore Grand Prix was even more difficult; Hamilton encountered brake issues and was ultimately penalized with a 5-second time penalty for multiple track limit violations, finishing only eighth in a disappointing performance. This year, Hamilton has had some poor qualifying performances, being eliminated in Q1 at Spa-Francorchamps. Additionally, he failed to make it into the top ten shootout at Imola and in Hungary. In Singapore, Hamilton showed improvement in single-lap performance, qualifying ahead of Charles Leclerc. However, the seven-time world champion felt he had to overdrive the Ferrari to surpass other teams.
