[Saba Sports News] Recently, Ferrari team chairman John Philip Jacob Elkann, while attending an event in Milan, commented on Ferrari’s recent performance, directly stating that the team needs to be more united internally. Elkann stated that the Brazilian Grand Prix was a huge disaster. Although the mechanics always perform excellently in the pit stops and the engineers are working hard to improve the car, the performance in other areas is not up to standard, such as our drivers. They should focus more on driving, talk less and do more. As Elkann’s comments were reported by Italian media and spread rapidly, controversy erupted on social media. Many fans believed such public comments were too strongly worded. Although Elkann did not name anyone, many believed the criticism was more directed at Lewis Hamilton. A few hours after Elkann’s controversial remarks, Hamilton responded via social media. Hamilton stated that he trusts the team and believes in himself, and will never give up. The accompanying picture showed Hamilton walking into the garage, gazing at the number 44 on the Ferrari engine cover, and holding a Brazilian flag. Charles Leclerc also shared his thoughts later that day, calling for team unity and urging everyone to give their all to turn the situation around in the final three races.
