[Saba Sports News] Recently, Lewis Hamilton spoke about his new goals after joining the Ferrari team. He detailed how his focus has shifted from pursuing greatness in F1 to broader areas. In an interview with Belgian media RTBF, Hamilton said, “I rarely talk about the so-called historical status-it’s not what I care about. I’m often asked this question, but I don’t think that way. When I was young, I used to say, ‘I want to be remembered as one of the greatest F1 drivers.’ But now, my mindset has changed. Every era has great drivers-each has its own leaders-so it’s not as important to me anymore. What matters to me now is what real contributions I can make.” Hamilton also talked about some of the causes he is passionate about off the track. The seven-time world champion said, “I’ve set up a foundation focusing on education for underprivileged children. I hope they can access science and engineering fields. I also collaborate with associations fighting against child malnutrition. There are still more than 100 million children who cannot receive education. Think about how much money is spent on war-it’s crazy. The world is going through a tough time right now. I can’t change everything, but I want to make a positive impact.”
