[Saba Sports News] On the morning of the fourth day of testing in Barcelona, Lewis Hamilton experienced a skid and spin while driving the Ferrari SF-26, with footage of the incident later circulating on social media. The footage shows Hamilton losing rear grip at the exit of Turn 10, resulting in a 360-degree spin before he returned to the track. Because the spin was slow, cars behind were able to reduce speed in advance to avoid the situation, and there was no further impact. Currently, the Circuit de Catalunya is hosting the first unofficial road tests ahead of the 2026 season. This five-day test provides teams their first opportunity to experience the new generation of chassis and power units in a real track environment. Due to significant changes in technical regulations, each team is only allowed to run on the track for three of those days. The fourth day of testing marked Ferrari’s second working day for this test session, which means the team will be taking to the track again on the fifth day. Overall, Ferrari’s performance during this Barcelona test has been relatively smooth, with no major technical issues reported. Although no official real-time timing data has been released, various unofficial sources have provided some lap statistics. Hamilton completed about 53 laps in the SF-26 during the afternoon of the second working day, while teammate Charles Leclerc finished 65 laps in the morning.
