[Saba Sports News] Since Christian Horner left Red Bull, he has been in contact with multiple F1 teams exploring possibilities for a return to the paddock. Previously, Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu stated that Horner had contacted them and they held an exploratory conversation, but there has been no further progress since, and the matter is concluded. Horner has also been in contact with the Aston Martin team. Aston Martin CEO Andy Cowell mentioned at a press conference that he had discussed the matter with team owner Lawrence Stroll, but there are currently no plans for Horner to be involved with their team in an operational or investment role. Furthermore, Alpine Executive Director Steve Nelson and Williams Team Principal James Vowles were also asked if they had been contacted by Horner. Nelson stated: “To my knowledge, Horner has not contacted Alpine. However, he is an old friend of our consultant Flavio Briatore. That’s no secret. I don’t know what they discussed, but to my understanding, reports of Horner joining Alpine are untrue. That doesn’t rule out future possibilities, however.” Vowles also stated that Williams has not signed any contract with Horner. He said: “You should always be open to communication; there’s no reason to close doors. But I think we are happy with our current structure; it’s working well, and there’s no need for changes at the moment.”
