[Saba Sports News] Lewis Hamilton, the current driver for the Mercedes F1 team, announced a significant news piece earlier this year, revealing he would join Ferrari after the season ends. This announcement has continued to attract public attention. Recently, Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner discussed this rare topic during a media interview, expressing his opinion that Hamilton’s switch is a wise move. Horner stated, “He clearly sees something he thinks is better than staying where he is. I think the collaboration between Hamilton and Ferrari is really exciting for F1.” Mercedes had won the Constructors’ Championship for eight consecutive years, and Hamilton matched Schumacher’s legendary record by becoming a “seven-time champion” there. Hamilton’s relationship with Mercedes has become somewhat delicate this season, as the team previously rejected his request to join Ferrari for the Abu Dhabi post-season test immediately after the season ends, indicating some cracks may have developed in their relationship.
