[Saba Sports News] Celebrating 15 years in international cricket, India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shared a video hinting at his return to the national team. Since his debut on February 08, 2009, against Sri Lanka in Colombo, Jadeja has evolved into one of cricket’s leading all-rounders.
Despite a modest start, where he gave away 40 runs in six overs and scored 60* in a defeat, his breakthrough came in his 12th ODI, winning the Player of the Match for his 4/32 against Sri Lanka in Cuttack. This performance cemented his place in both ODI and T20 teams.
Jadeja’s Test debut against England in Nagpur in December 2012 further showcased his skills, leading to a reputation as a top all-rounder across formats. His standout moment was during the 2013 Champions Trophy, where his all-round abilities clinched India the title and earned him the ‘golden ball’ as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker.
Recently sidelined by a hamstring injury during the first Test against England in Hyderabad, Jadeja has been rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Reports suggest he might return for the third Test against England in Rajkot starting on February 15.
