[Saba Sports News] Recently, the case involving Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe has finally been resolved, as the Swedish authorities have terminated the investigation due to “insufficient evidence.” According to Swedish media, the Swedish prosecution announced on Thursday that the investigation against Mbappe has ended due to a lack of evidence, although the name of the player was not disclosed. The prosecutor involved in this investigation specifically noted that the plaintiff, whose identity remains unknown, “no longer wishes to participate in the investigation.” The prosecutor stated in the conclusion that, based on the currently available evidence, it cannot be proven that one or more suspects are guilty. We cannot expect further investigations to decisively change the status of the evidence. The collected evidence… is insufficient to continue the preliminary investigation because the plaintiff no longer wishes to participate. Notably, Mbappe stated in an interview with Canal+ last Sunday that he had never heard of the investigation in Sweden: “I was surprised. I am always surprised. The occurrence of these things is unexpected. I have received nothing, nor any summons.”
