[Saba Sports News] Jaylen Brown might have a password to update.
The Boston Celtics star fell victim to a hacker on Tuesday, who took over his official X account. The hacker flooded Brown’s page, seen by over 750,000 followers, with a stream of vulgar, nonsensical messages, and cryptocurrency promotions.
One post, in particular, caught attention and went viral. It read, “f–k tatum” (profanity edited), clearly referring to Brown’s teammate, Jayson Tatum.
A lot has been said about Brown and Tatum’s relationship since they became teammates in 2017. Just a few years ago, many thought they should be split up since they hadn’t won a championship. But after leading the Celtics to an NBA title this year, speculation persists, especially as Brown earned both ECF MVP and Finals MVP honors.
One thing is for sure—Brown needs to secure his X account. While he issued a strong warning to the NBA a few days ago, it looks like he should have directed it at cybercriminals instead.
