[Saba Sports News] Lamar Odom is likely to witness a significant increase in his car insurance premium after he collided his Mercedes with two parked cars during an early morning incident.
Reportedly, Lamar was returning home from a friend’s house in Northridge when he accidentally dropped his phone inside his Mercedes. In an attempt to retrieve it, he lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a collision with two parked cars on the street. The impact involved Lamar’s white Mercedes striking another white car, which then bumped into a car parked in front of it.
Although Lamar’s airbags deployed, he fortunately escaped without injuries and did not require medical attention. However, he was understandably shaken, and his Mercedes sustained significant damage. The incident prompted a call to the police, but the LAPD did not file an official report upon arriving at the scene.
Law enforcement officers did engage in a conversation with Lamar, inquiring about his alcohol consumption. Lamar assured them that he had not been drinking and disclosed that he was sober and owned rehabilitation facilities. No field sobriety test was administered by the police.
Lamar proceeded to explain the circumstances of the accident to the LAPD officers, and the owners of the damaged parked cars emerged from their homes. Lamar provided them with his insurance information as a responsible gesture. Thankfully, there were no occupants inside the parked cars at the time of the collision.
Ultimately, the police left the scene after ensuring that all parties involved had exchanged the necessary information. Lamar’s Mercedes was towed away, and he was driven back to his residence by his security personnel.
