[Saba Sports News] Lando Norris has reached another milestone in his career. The 2026 F1 champion will have his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds London, becoming the latest sports star to be recreated from head to toe. Madame Tussauds London has previously made wax figures for top athletes including Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah, Kylian Mbappé and Olympic boxing champion Anthony Joshua. Norris’s addition now also marks a further increase in his off-track influence.
Norris said he feels the honor “unreal” and is impressed by the production team’s attention to detail, and he looks forward to his wax figure being unveiled to the public this summer. In the 2025 season Norris won his first F1 world title, narrowly beating Max Verstappen in the Abu Dhabi finale to become the 11th British F1 world champion and delivering McLaren its first drivers’ championship since Lewis Hamilton’s 2008 title.
The writer believes Madame Tussauds is one of the world’s most influential celebrity-wax institutions, and its subjects are typically public figures with wide influence in sports, entertainment, politics and other fields. Norris becoming the second F1 driver after Hamilton to have a dedicated wax figure signals mainstream cultural recognition of his status in motorsport.
