[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Lautaro Martinez has traveled a staggering 104,000 kilometers on long-distance trips in less than half a year! In a recent international friendly, Argentina defeated Angola 2-0, with Lautaro contributing one goal and one assist for the national team. Reports state that since the start of this season, Lautaro has been frequently traveling long distances between his club and national team duties, accumulating a total travel distance of an astonishing 104,000 kilometers. Considering the Earth’s circumference is approximately 40,000 kilometers, Lautaro has nearly traveled the equivalent of three times around the globe in just six months. Furthermore, this mileage does not include shorter trips for Serie A and Champions League matches with Inter Milan; it only accounts for long-distance travel for events like the Club World Cup last summer and international fixtures. During this period, Lautaro has continuously undertaken long-haul intercontinental journeys, traveling back and forth from Milan, Italy, to Argentina, Chile, the United States, Ecuador, and now even to Africa for the friendly against Angola. In March next year, Lautaro might also travel to Doha, Qatar, to participate in the CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions match between Argentina and Spain. Lautaro always looks forward to call-ups from the Argentine national team and does not want to miss even friendly matches. However, the extensive travel has reportedly affected his form, with periods of poor finishing at Inter Milan, and due to physical fatigue, Lautaro sometimes appears to be emotionally tense.
