[Saba Sports News] Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc revealed in an interview that he suffered from food poisoning before the F1 team championship showdown weekend in Abu Dhabi. It is reported that Leclerc was food poisoned on Thursday night. When he woke up on Friday, he felt very uncomfortable and as if he hadn’t slept all night. Currently, the Ferrari team is preparing for the final race. Ferrari must score 22 more points than McLaren in the race to ensure they win the Constructors’ Championship. Unfortunately, the Ferrari team installed a third energy storage battery in Leclerc’s car, causing him to be penalized 10 places on the grid for the race. Now, with Leclerc also suffering from food poisoning, it’s a double blow for the Ferrari team. Fortunately, Leclerc is optimistic about his recovery, stating that as long as he gets a good night’s sleep, he will be back to full strength by tomorrow. Although the weekend’s race has become more challenging, this has not diminished Leclerc’s motivation.
