Initially, BeIN Sports intended to sign a broadcast deal but eventually changed its decision. As a result, the French Professional League has formulated an alternative plan. In case they fail to secure a broadcaster before the deadline, they are preparing to establish an independent live broadcasting channel with a monthly subscription price of 25 euros. To compensate for these losses, the French Football League has been forced to lower its asking price for broadcast rights. The editor believes that external broadcasters’ reluctance is understandable since the league has lost prominent stars, leading to a decrease in revenue.
