[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Liverpool’s annual revenue will break through the 700 million pound mark for the first time. Currently, Nike’s contract with Liverpool is entering its last few months, and this American sportswear manufacturer will pay Liverpool an extra 2 million pounds for winning the championship. Additionally, other commercial partners will also contribute small performance-related bonuses, and Liverpool’s commercial revenue will continue to grow. Besides signing jersey sponsorship agreements with Standard Chartered Bank and sleeve advertising sponsorships with Expedia, Liverpool has also partnered with blue-chip companies like UPS, Google, Peloton, and Japan Airlines over the past two years. The 308 million pound commercial revenue for the 2023-24 season is inevitably set to increase again this season. Although being eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League knockout stage may be disappointing, Liverpool’s near-perfect performance in the group stage was impressive. Liverpool ranked first among 36 clubs, winning 85 million pounds in prize money. Additionally, Liverpool’s average attendance per home game this season is 60,000, and last season’s matchday revenue has already broken through 100 million pounds for the first time, expected to rise again this season. It is predicted that Liverpool will become the second English club after Manchester City to exceed an annual turnover of 700 million pounds.
