[Saba Sports News] Over the past few months, heavy rains have led to severe floods in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced, and tragically, more than 150 lives have been lost. Many others are without electricity and access to safe drinking water. In response to this, Alisson Becker, with the support of the Liverpool Foundation, has initiated a special one-time auction featuring the Liverpool jerseys worn in the last home game of the 2023-24 season. The auction also includes jerseys worn by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah. The aim is to raise essential funds for the flood victims. Additionally, a series of autographed boots from the team, including those worn by club captains Van Dijk and Alexis Mac Allister, are up for auction. All proceeds will be donated to those in dire need. Alisson expressed his gratitude to the Liverpool Foundation, stating, “The impact of the flooding and rainfall in Rio Grande do Sul has been devastating. Let’s show the people of my home state the power of ‘you will never walk alone.’ Every donation will make a difference, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”
