[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Liverpool is taking steps to expand its scouting network to find the next batch of stars from their youth academy. Liverpool is set to expand and reform the club’s scouting efforts, focusing more on identifying the next group of graduates from their youth academy. As part of their commitment to recruit, retain, and develop talent, Liverpool will make a series of important appointments in player recruitment and loan management. Brighton had previously reduced its scouting network, while Liverpool plans to promote the recruitment of local, domestic, and international talents based on existing good practices. Liverpool plans to hire a new loan management head to replace former scout Matt Newbury, who was recently promoted to the club’s global talent director and was one of the first scouts to observe Ryan Gravenberch’s performances. In addition, Liverpool is creating two new positions—Head of Loan Pathways and Loan Performance Analyst—to highlight the importance of players gaining experience outside of the first team environment. At the same time, Liverpool will appoint a global scout, a scout for the Netherlands and Belgium regions, and two scouts for Europe, while also strengthening recruitment, analysis, and scouting efforts at the youth academy.
