[Saba Sports News] According to Sabasports, Noni Madueke was not included in Chelsea’s squad for the match against Fulham, with the Blues’ head coach Enzo Maresca stating it was a technical decision. British media reported that Madueke has been reprimanded multiple times internally for his training attitude. The first warning came in August after Chelsea’s victory over Swiss team Servette in the Europa Conference League, where Madueke scored a goal but still received a verbal warning from Maresca, who told the player he needed to improve his training. The second warning occurred earlier this month when Madueke’s performance in training declined, leading Maresca to bench him for the match against Aston Villa. Before this, Madueke had started in all 11 Premier League matches. He received another warning from the coach that if he continued to be indifferent in training, he would no longer be tolerated. Recently, Madueke was absent from the matchday squad, which seems to be Maresca’s way of demonstrating his stance. Although he refused to disclose the exact reason for the player’s absence, stating it was purely a technical decision, it is clear that Maresca demands absolute professionalism from his players. Reports suggest he is establishing a “fair and solid” culture at Chelsea.
