[Saba Sports News] Australian driver Kevin Magnussen’s next move has been confirmed: he will represent BMW in endurance racing next season. With no seat available in 2025, the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix may be Magnussen’s last race in F1. Before the final race of the season, Magnussen announced his participation in the BMW M racing LMDh program, which will see him compete in IMSA and WEC events, including the Le Mans 24 Hours. Magnussen expressed his excitement and pride in representing such an iconic racing brand in one of the most legendary competitions in the world. He noted that after ten years in F1, he is ready to embark on an exciting new chapter and looks forward to the challenges of endurance racing. Interestingly, Magnussen revealed that BMW WRT WEC team boss Vincent Vosse once saved his life when he was two years old at his family’s swimming pool. At that time, Magnussen jumped into the pool but did not know how to swim. Mr. Vosse, dressed in a suit and preparing for a party, jumped into the pool to save him.
