[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United is offering free return coach travel for fans travelling to Bournemouth, with around 400 supporters set to benefit. For Manchester United fans, the trip to Bournemouth represents one of the longest away journeys in the Premier League. As the match was rescheduled for television broadcast, fans relying on public transport would have been unable to return to Manchester smoothly after the game. Manchester United stepped in to provide free bus travel for away fans making the trip to Bournemouth, benefiting approximately 400 supporters. The club was allocated around 1,300 away tickets in total, meaning roughly one-third of travelling fans will take the free coaches to the match. Manchester United’s players will fly back immediately after the game and be given the rest of the weekend off, allowing the club’s foreign players to return home and spend time with their families before linking up with their respective national teams.
The editor believes that the round trip for Manchester United fans traveling from Manchester to Bournemouth is quite long, and the original public transport schedules cannot match the return time after the match. Making their own travel arrangements would not only be costly for fans but also risk missing return trips due to delays. Manchester United’s free coach service has exactly filled this travel gap.
