[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United has signed a three-year jersey sponsorship contract with Qualcomm Snapdragon, worth 75 million annually. On July1, Manchester United unveiled their new season jersey, featuring American technology company Qualcomm Snapdragon as the chest sponsor. After months of negotiations, Manchester United and Qualcomm Snapdragon finally reached a three−year contract worth a total of 225 million. It is reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon has the option to extend the initial agreement for another two years. Additionally, the $75 million annual sponsorship fee is not contingent on Manchester United’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League. Even if the team fails to qualify for the Champions League in consecutive seasons, the sponsorship amount will remain unaffected. Qualcomm Snapdragon can also choose to promote a charitable cause by printing the name of a charity on the front of Manchester United’s jersey for one game each season. This is undoubtedly positive news for Manchester United.
