[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United recently unveiled the new training kit for the 2025-26 season, but it has no sponsor support. The agreement with the blockchain company, which previously provided around £24 million annually, will expire at the end of June. Although club insiders had previously said a new sponsorship deal would be finalized soon, the new kit does not feature any brand logo. Over the past three years, both the first team and women’s team training kits carried the company’s logo. Now that partnership has ended, and there are no immediate plans for a new sponsorship. In addition to the training kit sponsorship, another major revenue source for Manchester United is also at risk. Since 2019, Marriott International has decided not to renew its sponsorship deal, as the world’s largest hotel group is cutting costs. Signing a new sponsor is now crucial for Manchester United, especially given their current financial pressures, as this income plays an important role in the club’s financial balance. The new Premier League season will kick off on August 17, with Manchester United hosting Arsenal at Old Trafford. However, the English powerhouse now faces not only on-field challenges but also needs to quickly restore its commercial reputation and market appeal.
