[Saba Sports News] Recently, some British media outlets have written about Manchester United’s summer transfer plans and revealed the team’s budget for the summer and possible transfer operations. The report states that because they failed to qualify for the Champions League via the Europa League, the team will miss out on approximately £100 million in prize money, significantly cutting Manchester United’s summer budget. Additionally, due to missing out on the Champions League, Adidas’ sponsorship fee will be reduced by £10 million, and finishing 15th in the league has also led to a decrease in the team’s income this season. According to Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), clubs are allowed to lose up to £105 million over three years, putting huge financial pressure on Manchester United. This year alone, the club could face losses exceeding £100 million, which is why Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo may be sold. Their valuations exceed £60 million each, and since both are academy players, their transfer profits can be fully counted. Moreover, Manchester United may have to consider selling Bruno Fernandes, with Riyadh New Moon offering a bid of around £100 million. It is reported that Manchester United’s summer budget has been cut down to £125 million, and they need to sell players in order to buy new recruits.
