In the first half, Kylian Mbappe passed the penalty to Jude Bellingham, but in the second half, a penalty awarded to Real Madrid was canceled. Media cameras captured that before the penalty was canceled, Mbappé had passed it to Rodrygo. According to Spanish media reports, missing a penalty against Liverpool seems to have affected Mbappe’s confidence, as he refused to take the penalty against Getafe. He passed it to Bellingham in the first half and asked Rodrygo in the second half if he wanted to take the penalty. Rodrygo indicated that it would be better for Mbappé to take it, and Lucas Vazquez also encouraged Mbappe. However, the penalty was ultimately canceled. In a video released by Spanish media, Mbappe asked Rodrygo, “Do you want to take it?” before passing the ball to him. When Rodrygo received the ball, he looked to the sidelines as if asking Ancelotti for permission. The camera then shifted to Carlo Ancelotti, who indicated that the penalty should go to Mbappe, after which Rodrygo returned the ball to Mbappe, saying, “Be confident!”
