[Saba Sports News] After the well-known driver Mario Andretti’s unsuccessful attempt to join F1 with his own team, there has been much interest in the matter. The FIA president suggested that Andretti consider acquiring an existing team to enter F1. McLaren team CEO Zak Brown recently echoed this sentiment in an interview, also recommending that Andretti acquire an existing team. Brown mentioned that buying an established team would be the easiest route into F1, but currently, there seems to be a lack of willingness from teams to sell. Despite not being recognized by F1, Andretti Team Ti remains committed to their plans and continues to develop their car and power unit. In response to F1’s decision, Andretti Racing issued a statement expressing strong disagreement and affirming their determination to continue their development work.
