[Saba Sports News] At the F1-75 anniversary event in London, Mercedes unveiled its new season car, the W16. Team principal Toto Wolff also gave interviews and outlined clear goals for the 2025 season. Wolff stated, “In 2025, we will usher in an exciting new chapter for the Mercedes racing team, continuing the tradition of our motorsport endeavors.” Last season saw fierce competition in F1, despite winning several races, more was needed. The team aims to achieve more consistent victories and stand out in the manufacturers’ championship from the start of the 2025 season. Regarding the driver lineup for the upcoming season, Wolff highly praised both drivers, noting they have made progress within the team’s youth development program, proving the success of their support and talent development initiatives. Wolff believes Andrea Kimi Antonelli possesses all the qualities to become a great driver. For the new season, the team will fully support him and give him space to learn from mistakes.
